Dr. Wexler is a member of many dental and orthodontic associations, including the American Dental Associations, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists, Central Florida Orthodontic Study Group, Hernando County Dental Society, and Florida Dental Association. He served as President of Hernando County Dental Society during 2004-2005. Dr. Wexler's practice philosophy is to create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for patients. The practice is caring and patient-oriented and tries to be as accommodating as possible during treatment. Patients are excited to come to the office because of this atmosphere, and they are excited about the beautiful smile that they and Dr. Wexler are working on together. What Dr. Wexler enjoys most about the practice of orthodontics is the appreciation from patients when they see the difference in their smile after finishing treatment. Often when the improvements in their teeth are drastic, patients report a positive change in their personality and demeanor, and we can see it! Dr. Wexler is a native of Erie, Pennsylvania and with his wife Miriam has two children: a daughter, Rachel, and a son, Brian. When he is not busy with his patients he enjoys tennis and jogging. Dr. Wexler received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in Kent, OH and his DDS degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his Ph.D degree in Microbiology at the University of Rochester and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Wexler was awarded Diplomate/Board-Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics in August of 2006. Dr. Wexler has been a premier provider with Invisalign® since 2005.
